1.Since Japanese weddings are expensive, do you think having a massive wedding like Korea or USA is a good idea? Why?

I think it is good idea. Because big wedding can invite many people. And congratulated by many people.

2. What do you think about eloping? Is it a good idea or romantic? Why?

A couple over person's dead body even they are opposed by others is very romantic. But I don't think eloping is good idea. Because if a couple really want to marriage, they need to get a against person's permit.

3. Have you ever thought about having a wedding in a foreign location like Hawaii? Would you do it? Why?Or Why not?

Though I think foreign location like Hawaii is vary beautiful. I don't want to having a wedding in foreign. Because if I having a wedding in foreign, I have to pay a lot of money. And I think Japan have also beautiful location.

4.What is your ideal wedding?

I think wedding is vary the pace of one's life. And wedding become aware of marriage oneself.
Moreover, wedding is a place which congratulated by invited guests.

5.What would you definitely do, wear or go to on that big day? Why is that important?

If I have a wedding, I want to ware white dress!! and I want to have a wedding in church.
Because I think it's very romantic.

1, Do you think it is important to talk about superstitions in cross

Yes I do. For me, superstitions are important. Because I'm interested in other countries superstitions.

No it's not.

Yes I do. Because I think superstitions should belive. It is only superstition but not exactly wrong.

1. Please explain a time proverb in your culture.

I want to explain "in the dead of night".
This proverb say "草木も眠る丑三つ時" in Japanese.
This proverb mean that state of silent night.

2. What do the following proverbs mean:

a. Time is money.

This mean is that time is important. So, you don't waste time as money.

b. A stitch in time saves nine.

This meas is that if you take a stitch in advance, you can save a lot of time to take 9 stitch after your cloth is popped open.

c. There's no time like the present.

This mean is that present is best time. So, you don't miss a good opportunity or chance.

d.Let's meet at 4. If I'm not there by 5, leave without me at 6, and I'll be there at 7.

This mean is that time pass quickly, so time can't wait for personal reasons.

I never discuss about topics that my friend's not want to.

I have American friends. Because I stayed in America for a month. They speak English as usual. but they talked about same things. And, I think their life style was same with me, Japanese

I think just top-brand good's are cute and wonderful. Because I also like brand good's like most Japanese. So, Japanese thinking is same as me. I think..

Because I can't go out naked. It's too shame.

I think the meaning is I can't judje the content of book by it's cover before I read a book.
For example, Even if the book's cover is beautiful or good to me. I can't judge the content of book is great. Because I'm not read the book yet, when I'm choosing a book.

Yes, I do. Because, I can know taste in clothing. I think taste in clothing is affect character or personality.

I think clothing is one of an importance when judging other people from another country.

I'm wearing pink shirt and white jacket now. I didn't choose cloths by my mood.

Usually, I throw away "wrapping". But I sometimes keep " wrapping", only when I think the wrapping is cute or good.

I think dead person who did a good deed can go to Heaven. All most Japanese are Buddihism.　　 Buddihism always thankful to their ancestor. They remember dead person when they have death memolial services periodical.


3, Expain why do Japanese have death memorial services 1 month, 1 year, 3 years, 7 years, etc.
after a person's death?

I think the reason is related to religion. Almost Japanese are Buddhism. Death memorial services are a event of Buddhism. Buddhism's thinking is Buddhism can live by grace of their ancestor. They always make much of their ancester.


4, Do you have any international friends or a host family? If so, how would you express your condolences to them if a family member died? If not, then how would you express condolences to an American host family if their Grandmother died?
