Do you agree with the writer Minae Misumura(”the Fall of Japanese in the Age of English") When she says that, "the dominance of English, especially with the advent of the Internet, threatens to reduce all other national languages to more "local" languages that are not taken seriously by scholars. The education system, she argues, doesn't spend enough time teaching Japanese."

I agree with witer Minae Mizumura.
I'd like to tell 3 reasons.

The first, Internet is used by people from all over the world.
And English is common language of world. So English is often used on the Internet.

The secound, local language is only understand by local people.
So English is useful language as communicate with another counries people.

The third, I feel English calss is much than Japanese class, when I was junior high school student.

I don't agree with the auther. There are so many man in Japan.
Some Japanese man may become "Renain ken-o Sho". But It's a part of many Japanese man. I think there are many Japanese man who kind to woman.

1.Have you ever eaten restaurant in a foreign country?
what did you eat? Did you make any mistakes? Please
explain your experience.

Yes, I have. I ate many kind of food at buffet restaurant in America.
I didn't any mistakes.
The buffet restaurant in America is different with Japan. I paid the bills before I ate.

2.Did you learn anything?

Yes, I did. I think table manner is almost common between America and Japan.

8,wedding

1.Since Japanese weddings are expensive, do you think having a massive wedding like Korea or USA is a good idea? Why?

I think it is good idea. Because big wedding can invite many people. And congratulated by many people.

2. What do you think about eloping? Is it a good idea or romantic? Why?

A couple over person's dead body even they are opposed by others is very romantic. But I don't think eloping is good idea. Because if a couple really want to marriage, they need to get a against person's permit.

3. Have you ever thought about having a wedding in a foreign location like Hawaii? Would you do it? Why?Or Why not?

Though I think foreign location like Hawaii is vary beautiful. I don't want to having a wedding in foreign. Because if I having a wedding in foreign, I have to pay a lot of money. And I think Japan have also beautiful location.

4.What is your ideal wedding?

I think wedding is vary the pace of one's life. And wedding become aware of marriage oneself.
Moreover, wedding is a place which congratulated by invited guests.

5.What would you definitely do, wear or go to on that big day? Why is that important?

If I have a wedding, I want to ware white dress!! and I want to have a wedding in church.
Because I think it's very romantic.

Yes I do. For me, superstitions are important. Because I'm interested in other countries superstitions.

No it's not.

Yes I do. Because I think superstitions should belive. It is only superstition but not exactly wrong.

1. Please explain a time proverb in your culture.

I want to explain "in the dead of night".
This proverb say "草木も眠る丑三つ時" in Japanese.
This proverb mean that state of silent night.

2. What do the following proverbs mean:

a. Time is money.

This mean is that time is important. So, you don't waste time as money.

b. A stitch in time saves nine.

This meas is that if you take a stitch in advance, you can save a lot of time to take 9 stitch after your cloth is popped open.

c. There's no time like the present.

This mean is that present is best time. So, you don't miss a good opportunity or chance.

d.Let's meet at 4. If I'm not there by 5, leave without me at 6, and I'll be there at 7.

This mean is that time pass quickly, so time can't wait for personal reasons.

I never discuss about topics that my friend's not want to.

I have American friends. Because I stayed in America for a month. They speak English as usual. but they talked about same things. And, I think their life style was same with me, Japanese
